The Dryden Ensemble is a professional nonprofit Baroque chamber music ensemble that performs concerts throughout Princeton, New Jersey, and surrounding communities.
Many of the musicians in our group are internationally recognized for their incredible talents.
Our ensemble focuses on music from the 17th and 18th century, and we use period instruments for many of our performances to give our music an extra authentic feel. Some of these instruments include the baroque oboe, violins, viola, cello, viola da gamba, flute, harpsichord, chamber organ, and baroque bassoon.
We generally perform three programs with two concerts per year, with various other fundraising benefits taking place here and there. Our core group is comprised of six people, but in concert settings, our ensemble includes up to 14 musicians.
